When my washer broke down after years of in-suite laundry I needed to find a good reliable convenient laundry mat. First - parking is a dream.I got there late so the carwash wasn't open; maybe that had something to do with it but it worked for me. The whirlpool washers are modern and have a count down timer so you know exactly how much time remaining there is. They have 10 washers and one gigantor washer. The machines take loonies and quarters. There was only one other guy in there when we arrived. I had immediate access the three machines I needed. All 3 worked fine. I think I remember 7 big gas dryers. It really does look like the picture on their website. The dryers are a 0.25. I plugged in 4 quarters and the towels and jeans weren't still weren't dry but pretty good. I don't know how many more quarters it would take but I bet maybe just one more, maybe two. I don't know if $1.50 is reasonable for drying - that's the same as the washer for $3/load. The guy that came in to clean the already clean place was friendly when he reminded us about closing in 15 minutes at 9pm was friendly. I didn't feel pressured to hurry up and get the heck outta there at all but, I'm a mom-lady.
I liked that there were employees nearby. The guy at the gasbooth was very nice and gave me change... even tho' I learnt later there is a change machine right there on the wall. Doh. There's a tv with cable too.
It was a good experience. I hope to get a new-to-me washer this weekend but if I can't find something I like I'm ok with going back to this place.
:D
